Celebrating the Gift of Mothers and Families

On this Mother’s Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and prayers to all mothers—those with us, those we remember, and those who nurture others with a mother’s love.

Mothers hold a special place in the life of the Church and in our families. Their faith, sacrifice, and quiet strength reflect the love of Christ in the world. In a particular way, we look to the Blessed Virgin Mary as our model—her trust in God, her humility, and her unwavering love remind us what it means to say “yes” to God in our daily lives.

As Scripture reminds us: “Her children rise up and call her blessed” (Proverbs 31:28). Today, we give thanks for the many ways mothers live out this beautiful vocation.

We warmly invite you and your family to join us for Mass this weekend as we honor and pray for all mothers. Whether you come with your children, your extended family, or in remembrance of a loved one, you are welcome here.
